To everyone: I will be working on a daily art dump where I will put all my art that I’ve done over the years. I realize that searching for the art everywhere on the interwebs is not efficient. So. ART DUMP!
Daily Art Dump
January 13th, 2011Fallout New Vegas – Review
November 16th, 2010Fallout New Vegas.
Graphically, the game is no better or worse than Fallout 3. If there are any differences, it is not really worth mentioning. To be honest, I’m a little disappointed they didn’t improve on this aspect but that is one of the only few strikes at this game.
Musically, you will hear the same (or feel like you’ve heard the same) tune a dozen times in only ten minutes. There are a lot more radio stations but not a lot of music. I feel they lost a great bit of potential here. The sounds of the wasteland are nothing memorable. All in all, not very pleased with the audio in the game.
Bugs. One could not talk about Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas without saying the numerous bugs. My game froze multiple times while in the loading screen. I learned that keeping a constant save file up is critical. Multiple times I would find my enemies stuck in the ground or even worse, my companions. Othertimes I would find a monster indestructable. Bugs, bugs, bugs.
But what am I saying here? That the game so far has lived up to the Fallout 3 expectations, yes? Well let’s move on!
Storyline. The storyline if completed from start to finish makes the game seem very short. To be straight with you, about the length of Fallout 3′s storyline. But what Fallout seems to lack in length, they make up for in choices and decisions and mini-storylines.
True, we could sit here and argue that the storyline should be longer. Under normal circumstances, I would heartilly agree. A game should be able to stand on its storyline and keep you entertained with it. However…
The mini-storyline or side missions are lengthy, interesting, involved, and unlike some games, they don’t feel like you’re straying from the main mission. At some point I stopped by the NCR base, talked to a few fellows, within the next 3 hours I was inside a vault and I spent quite literally 8 hours diving in and out of a vault, trying to sell all the loot. I don’t quite recall ever straying from the main mission but I realized once I completed that vault that it had NOTHING to do with the main storyline. On top of that, I realized that there are quests that aren’t even identified as quests, yet they give rewards and fame for them! Mind boggled, I realized this game while I could have probably finished in a mere day or two, had me sucked into doing non-essential content and I wasn’t at all bothered by it.
Oh yes there are mini quests in games like ‘kill this boss monster’ or ‘collect this off a monster and deliver it’… but the quests in Fallout New Vegas don’t feel like a pain in my arse…. nor do they feel like I’ve done them a dozen times.
So let’s see… there are a few new features to Fallout New Vegas. Modifying weapons and the addition of the Hardcore mode.
Hardcore mode is what I like to call ‘Unfair mode’. Trying to keep your health, fatigue, hunger, hydration up is bad enough without trying to keep your companions from dying and carrying only a handful of bullets and supplies because everything has weight. I’d drag on about how horrible hardcore mode is, but I’d much rather tell you to play the game.
I would give Fallout New Vegas a 8.5/10.
Majority Five – New, Improved, Colored
November 15th, 2010For those of you who have seen the original, most of the pages haven’t changed all that much. I feel though that by redrawing and coloring these pages that I will gain more confidence in the comic. Towards the end of the original pages I felt that there was a lot of nothing going on. I hope, that with the improved pages, I can get good feedback from everyone.
Am I going to continue coloring every page? Depends. I know that if one day this comic series becomes good enough to be published I will go back and make sure every page is colored on a print form so that way the people who pay for the comic will get a nice bonus. Coloring requires a lot of patience out of me. Not because it takes so long but because I debate on colors and I stress myself out. Sometimes when the colors are added, I find myself hating the things I’ve drawn. In the end I might throw out an entire page with hours of work over the colors being there.
I would not call myself a perfectionist. Perfectionists need that A+ or100%. I am a… B+ or better person. What would you call that? Whatever that is, that’s me.
GIRLS ARE EVIL #49, 50, 51
September 16th, 2010GIRLS ARE EVIL #49 – Random
GIRLS ARE EVIL #50 – More Random
GIRLS ARE EVIL #51 – I can’t
I haven’t been very loyal at putting a blog up for every comic. Well the random ones really didn’t matter. Also I would like to apologize for the End of 2009 not coming to a complete close. My art style was getting sloppier and sloppier by the day.

Back to the drawing board
April 5th, 2010I know there’s a lot of questions about my car wreck, let’s take that to the forums.
I am going to start drawing again as soon as I can. Even doodled a little today. I was really happy to see the “get well” pic, it really made my day.
In other news… What games are people playing?
I’m alive.
April 3rd, 2010…and on the road to recovery…
edit: still alive.
Car Wreck
March 21st, 2010Almost died, more details to come.
About an hour before work ended, I was driving down I-35 to Denton with stop and go traffic when someone went all NASCAR behind me coming at 30-40 mph faster than everyone else, steered to the right and then slammed into my passenger side. My truck rolled several times, hitting someone off the road, I land right side up. Looking around, I noticed my purse, car parts missing. I also noted that there was a large amount of blood splattered on the spidered windowshield. I also noted that all other windows in the truck were 100% missing. I unbuckled my seatbelt and crawled out of the driver’s side window, leaving a pool of blood from my carseat, to the door, and lastly on the cement. As I tried to get to my feet and find my belongings, I realized that I had stopped 4 lanes of traffic. Roughly ten people ran out of their vehicles to hold me to the ground and tell me to remain calm while the police arrived. I can’t find my Garmin or my Bluetooth that I had purchased from Best Buy. As I lay bleeding, one kind lady called my boss. Otherwise, no one would have called anyone to come see me. Despite being promised to, swored to by police officers, nurses, and doctors that they would call someone. The person who hit me stepped out of the vehicle with his family to say ‘I guess I hit you, I thought I was gunna just miss you though.’ I got to ride in an ambulance, then care lifted via helicopter and then finally brought to Fort Worth Trauma center.
Two Not Better Than One (Oh Mi Gosh)
March 13th, 2010I can’t even put into words how tired I am. The paychecks are nice and I’ve got my debt down to… 600 to roommates and 2900 on my car. I haven’t been able to figure out how to put in time for drawing with all this and a little downtime for gaming, but I’ll figure something out. I will start scheduling hourly drawing periods throughout the week.
